At the core of Vulgamore Family Farms is a diversified crop and livestock operation. We provide the management, labor, equipment, crop inputs and capital to optimize the returns to cropland. Over 70 percent of our cropland is leased from other families and investors. We take pride in getting our landowners the highest yields and greatest possible returns from their land while improving it along the way.
We incorporate the latest technologies available to us, including growing crops improved through biotechnology when appropriate. These varieties allow us to use less harmful chemicals with our inputs and take fewer passes over each field, saving time and natural resources.
Modern farming techniques and dedication to environmental conservation have led to Vulgamore Family Farms being 100-percent no-till, which is important to soil conservation, water quality and other environmental factors in our community. We believe in using these tools available to modern day farmers to care for our land and be as efficient as possible.
